SUMMARY
Provide analysis and support for all facets of global remunerations initiatives
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead projects involving the analysis, design, testing, implementation and support of global remuneration programs
- Provide analysis for performance management pay to include development and management of model, development of employee communications and upload for HRIS/payroll systems
- Vendor management for assigned programs; provide data, analysis and vendor communication and performance assessment
- Provide analysis and support for expatriate remuneration management to include payroll, taxation, differentials, base salaries and retirement
- Lead on job management responsibilities to include job descriptions, job evaluations, and HRIS database duties; serves as SME on job evaluation and provides capacity building for job evaluation committees and on-going processes
- Ensures compliance with federal and local labor laws for employment related issues (FLSA, ERISA, OFCCP, EEO,)
- Provides financial modeling through statistical analysis and report generation to quantify information for decision making
- Serves as Payroll back-up to the Global Payroll and Benefits Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Must have 5+ years of demonstrated international human resource experience in a multi-national/multi-cultural organization preferably in a non-profit environment, with experience traveling overseas to support international staff
- Experience in designing compensation programs, with demonstrated experience in international remuneration and the management of expatriates
- Demonstrated knowledge of domestic and international human resources
- Cross-cultural experience derived from working in culturally diverse environments.
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resource networks and organizations
- Pro-active learning, keeping abreast of current and changing HR trends and practices.
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to apply discretion and maintain confidential information
- Ability to influence and manage change
- Experience with Federal and State employment regulations and laws
- Proficient with HRIS, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Excellent English language skills; proficiency in Spanish, French or Portuguese a plus
- Ability to travel, including internationally as necessary to support the needs of the HR function (approx. 10%)
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent relevant work experience; PHR or SPHR highly desired.
