WASH Project Manager

The WASH Project Manager (PM) is responsible and accountable for the overall planning and management of the WASH Project implementation in the Eastern Highlands, Simbu and ARB. The role will oversee project activities including the management of risks, opportunities and the continual improvement of CARE PNG’s WASH function and performance. This position is required to build strong networks between all stakeholders including local communities, NGOs and relevant Government agencies, and provide strategic and operational recommendations within program designs, ensuring all project activities are in accordance to the overall strategic direction of CARE PNG. With the project being extended until the first quarter of 2012, the WASH PM will replace the ongoing Project Manager and ensure completion of the project implementation and project reporting and will ensure sustainability of project processes with project communities.
