Senior Communications Role

Caritas Australia is a part of one of the world’s largest humanitarian aid and development organisations. Working in more than 30 countries, Caritas Australia supports long-term community development programs and delivers emergency relief in times of crises.

We are seeking a senior manager to join our Community Engagement team. This exciting role will be charged with building the profile of Caritas Australia and deepening our engagement with the Australian community and other key stakeholders.

Based in Sydney, this role reports to our Community Engagement Manager and has responsibility for managing a dynamic and driven team of media, web and advocacy specialists.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and strategic communicator with a proven ability to design, deliver and evaluate communications strategies across new and traditional media. A passion and commitment to the principles of mutual respect, justice and fairness and an ability to contribute to our warm supportive environment are essential.
