Programme Manager - Governance, Mental Health, DRR and Livelihoods

CAFOD, one of the UK’s leading international aid agencies, is currently looking for a Programme Manager to our Mano River Programme in Sierra Leone.

You will lead on the formulation of strategy and goals for our work on Governance, Mental Health, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Livelihoods across Sierra Leone and Liberia. You will ensure effective management of the country programmes, developing programme frameworks and strategies to achieve these goals and planning, monitoring and managing the implementation of this work alongside country programme staff in line with our values and working principles.

You should have an awareness of trends and changing approaches to development and humanitarian work and an understanding of the importance of gender and diversity in humanitarian and development work. We expect you to be able to deliver technical capacity building on the core focus areas of this post and demonstrate a sound understanding of DRR and Livelihoods related issues in the region and strong experience of programming in partnership.

Come and join us and help make a real difference in the lives of the world’s poorest communities.
