Communication Consultant
TERMS OF REFERENCE
Post Title: Communication Consultant Duration: Two (2) Months between November 2011 and January 2012 Duty Station: New York, NY

Deliverables:
The consultant is expected to deliver on the following: - Under guidance from the working group, create 15-20 short video clips using the text from the updated PPP (Programme Policy and Procedures) manual. - The videos will also comprise short speeches/presentations from UNICEF senior staff and participants in the PPP workshops - Draft script of all videos under supervision from the working group member (based on the content of the Programme Policy and Procedures Manual)
Qualifications and specialized knowledge/experience required:
Minimum Requirements: - University degree in Animation, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent professional work experience in video and/or web design areas. - Three to Five years or more of progressively responsible professional and relevant work experience in communication arts.
- General ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written form; specific skills in writing short scripts and video recording. - Experience working with video production and web platforms an asset. - Excellent English writing and editing skills. - Proven ability to effectively manage and coordinate projects. - Proven ability to work as part of a team. - Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. - Ability to handle multiple tasks
