The Supply Chain Director will provide strategic leadership for the Haiti Earthquake Response. This position is crucial as much of what we plan and do has supply chain element. The Supply Chain Management unit is placed close to Operations and Quality Assurance. We are looking for a visionary leader who can combine strong business disciplines with inspirational leadership skills in line with our values and ethos. You will have a passionate desire to help others, especially children.
SKILLS REQUIRED INCLUDE: • A senior procurement professional with at least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in both Corporate and NGO Environments. • PREFERRED: Good knowledge of French language
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Design, implement, and manage efficient & effective Supply Chain Management operations • Manage the Haiti Earthquake SCM. Directly responsible for office functions and staff, undertaking continuous in-house capacity building to ensure the provision a professional supply chain advice and coordination service to Haiti. • In collaboration with the Regional and Global Supply Chain Management Units (RSCMU and GSCMU), provide SCM advice on procedures, policies and standards for both emergency and program use. • Oversee and maintain Supply Chain coordination systems in procurement, transport and storage to give support to Haiti fields offices and emergency responses.
