Performance and Accountability Coordinator Contract: Permanent Ref: PAC/HROD-SPP/1011 Salary: £29,974 p.a. Base Location: International Office, Birmingham

IRW is currently seeking a Performance & Accountability Coordinator based in Birmingham. The appointed candidate will work within the Strategy, Policy & Process (SPP) team with responsibilities to co-ordinate the implementation and review of the Islamic Relief Worldwide global strategy and the review and improvement of core business processes and internal policy, including the quality improvement and performance managements processes. The post holder will ensure that field offices and partners are supported in the development of their strategic plans and their coherence with the IRW strategy and as a representative, s(h)e will work collaboratively with industry bodies to ensure best practice is disseminated within the organisation and improves our core business.

It is essential that the applicant has past experience of successfully implementing performance and quality management systems and developing strategy, internal policy and business processes. The post holder will need to have empathy with the values of IRW and its mission.

S(H)e must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts and influence people in a wide range of situations, plus fluency in written and spoken English is essential. It would be desirable to have a master’s degree in a relevant area with an understanding of implementing and managing core aspects of development and aid administration.
