1 year fixed term contract | Gaza
Every day, the Gaza crisis deprives people of basic human rights. That’s why we need you to join our partners to make sure our Public Health projects address the complex humanitarian and chronic needs throughout the Gaza Strip.
With an emphasis on partnership, you’ll develop Oxfam GB’s Public Health programmes in line with our strategic vision within Gaza, whilst providing valuable technical advice. You’ll also be able to motivate both components of the Public Health team, Promotion and Engineering, with a view to strengthening programme integration. Based on a strategic vision, our programme will aim to meet the wide-ranging needs within Gaza, with a particular focus on environmental health issues.
With previous experience operating in conflict zones, you’ll be confident travelling and operating in Gaza. But more importantly, you’ll have proven expertise in Public Health programmes in emergency and post-emergency contexts – you’ll also have technical understanding of environmental health issues.
