At the Supply Chain function, we are accountable for all services connected to the supply chain and logistics processes within Product Area (PA) Rock Tools. Balancing between costs on the one hand and service levels on the other, is a daily challenge for us, and our aim is to provide every single customer with the right product at the right time, without building excessive stock on our part. We are now looking for someone to take responsibility for our Global Operational Performance Management – someone who enjoys the opportunity to develop in a newly formed and truly global organization. Job Summary
In this position, you identify ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics, including freight and warehouse operation. You actively promote improvements and align your work with stakeholders across functions for implementation projects by planning, leading and controlling implementation. Your mission includes managing projects as needed to achieve performance improvements, developing a common performance management system to measure quality, on-time delivery, service levels and costs as well as defining and implementing analytical tools/technologies to support day-to-day operations. Also, you create a single methodology to track savings and partner with Finance to ensure that methodology is understood by the business and aligned with budget-setting processes. In addition, your initial focus is tobuild something new, partly based on previous monitoring methods but also by suggesting new methods.
Some international travel is a natural part in this role.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Economics or Supply Chain or with equivalent experience gained from a working career. A background in logistics is considered advantageous. You are experienced in change management and we prefer if you are skilled in project management. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and experience from working with and presenting to Executive Management teams. Good ability to express yourself in a clear manner in English, both verbally and in writing, is essential while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
