Job functions:
Participate and make input in the respective operations planning and objectives, as well as in budget preparations; compile and manage departmental budget; manage subordinates; co-ordinate and manage the day-to-day HR functions of the Division; conduct research and develop short- and mediumterm
plans for the Region's HR functionality; develop and implement Human Resources communication strategies; co-ordinate training and development of staff; employee relations; manage HR Administration and Information Systems; assist in developing policies and procedures as well as in ensuring compliance; carry out the day-to-day administrative functions of the division; maintain the required infrastructure and proper
housekeeping in area of responsibility.

Requirements: Grade 12; appropriate tertiary HR qualification; more than 5 years' relevant experience in an HR environment, preferably in the transport or motor industry, of which at least 2 years must have been in a managerial capacity; a strong focus on monitoring service delivery and providing excellent customer service is
non-negotiable; valid Code 08 (EB) driver's licence.
