Johannesburg Water (Pty) Ltd was established in 2001 as a municipal entity wholly owned by the City of Johannesburg. It is a R3bn turnover company employing ±2 400 people and its core purpose is to provide water and sanitation services to approximately 3,2 million people. Accountant: Management Accounting

The incumbent will assist with the preparation of accurate and timeous financial and management reports to JW management and key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities: * Perform quality control on financial information * Monitor actual expenditure against cost centre budgets * Assist with the production of management reports * Assist with the compilation of the annual business plan - budget and forecasts * Assist with
the upload of budgets onto the financial system and assist with the compilation of the annual budget books * Assist with the maintenance of the chart of accounts * Update the chart of account books and distribute to all departments.
Requirements and experience: * Final year of study towards a degree in Accounting with 4-6 years' Management Accounting experience or degree/diploma in Management Accounting with 2 years' management accounting experience * SAP Financial System, JW Chart of
Accounts, Report Model familiarisation and MS Excel (including Macros) * Valid driver's licence.
