Design Manager – Office of Campus Planning and Design
Reports to: Director and University Architect
Purpose
To provide assistance and support to the director and University architect, by providing design services in accordance with the office mission.
Principal Accountabilities
- Provide complete project tasks including compilation of required design documents, special studies when needed, correspondences, and meeting minutes.
- Review and follow up on authorities’ requirements.
- Coordinate FF and E/C construction and follow up
- Review and follow up on operation requirements, securities requirements and user requirements.
- Review and markup design development and construction documents.
- Review and markup workshop documents
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science in architecture
Experience
- Ten years of related experience
Skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent command of code requirements
- Excellent command of CAD applications
