Evaluation of Strengthening Israeli Civil Society for Change in Occupied Palestine

As part of a larger organisational undertaking to better capture and communicate the effectiveness of its work, Oxfam GB desires to rigorously assess the effectiveness to date of the Strengthening Israeli Civil Society for Change in Occupied Palestine project to influence change in policies and practices of the Israeli government and public towards Palestinians.

The Strengthening Israeli Civil Society for Change in Occupied Palestine project (PTIA50) is a part of the Right to be Heard program (P00747) in OPTI. The project is using campaigning and partnership approaches to influence Israeli decision makers and Israeli publics through the work of Civil Society (CS) partners in Israel, on the assumption is that the situation of Palestinians living in the OPT is heavily dependent on the policy and practices of both the Israeli government and Israeli publics and that any sustainable change in poverty in the OPT is linked to change in Israel.

The main objective of the project is to enable civil society in Israel to be a strong actor in creating change that will influence the lives of Palestinians.
