HR Officer

Our organization is one of the world's largest sources of private capital for microfinance. The financial resources come from investments by individuals, institutions and churches. On an annual basis a modest dividend is paid out to its shareholders.

At our International Support Office based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, we are currently looking for an

HR Officer

(32 hours a week)

Responsibilities

The HR Officer will become part of an HR team of in total 5 people and he or she will report to the HR Manager. There will be no direct reports. The responsibilities cover the following areas:

A. Recruitment & Selection

· To manage and coordinate every recruitment & selection process;

· To ensure each new staff member receives a thorough introduction programme.

B. Training & Development

· To manage and coordinate the annual appraisal process and where necessary train managers/employees on the subject;

· To manage and coordinate (collective) training and development needs and provide employees with necessary information;

· To maintain and further develop an adequate training policy/program for the organisation.

C. Care & Counselling

· To act as an Occupational Health & Safety focal point and ensure the absenteeism policy is adhered to, including case management for long term absent or frequently ill employees;

· To inform employees about occupational health and safety risks (preventative & curative) when working in an office environment, working from home or travelling;

· To coordinate and execute the Plan of Action derived from the Risk Inventory and Evaluation.

D. HR Communication

· To be responsible for HR content published on inter-/intranet;

· To coordinate the bi-annual Employee Satisfaction Survey.

E. General

· To provide general advice about the employment conditions and in close cooperation with the HR Manager keep the employment conditions and HR manual up to date.

Functie-eisen

Education and experience

- Bachelor degree (HBO/WO) in HRM or equivalent

- 5-8 years experience in similar position

- Computer literacy

- Fluency in English
