Director of Finance and Administration
WaterAid America (WAA) is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to join our Executive Team and help us create a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation. The Director of Finance and Administration oversees all financial aspects of WAA, including treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, grant administration, investment, real estate, long-range forecasting and risk management. The role requires a problem-solving leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, the flexibility to think and act across multiple levels of the organization simultaneously, from detailed budgeting and reporting to long-term strategic planning, and a commitment to achieving the goals of WAA’s three-year Strategic Business Plan. As a member of WaterAid’s Global Finance Executive, the Director also serves as WAA’s advocate and representative, contributing to setting financial standards and practice across the federation.
