 Position: Recruitment Generalist

The recruitment generalist is responsible for the proactive and strategic sourcing of high quality staff through implementation of effective and efficient recruitment strategies and Procedures aligned to organization Vision and Mission.

Reporting to: Country Lead Human Resource Training

Job Responsibilities
Collaborates with program/Regional/Department Managers to ensure smooth sourcing and hiring process

Develops innovative and proactive recruitment/sourcing strategies to develop high quality active and passive candidate pipelines. Conducts regular follow-up with program/Regional/Department Managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

Provides support to regions/Departments that are experiencing significant number of staff vacancies and assisting Program/regional/Department Managers with recruitment and retention plans
Identify and source appropriate internal talents for current and future open roles within the organization

Develops, Coordinates and implements community based recruiting initiatives with colleges/Universities and may give presentation at colleges/Universities, attend student group meetings and increase colleges/Universities awareness of BRAC Tanzania before and after career fairs and events

Assists in branding in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice “reputation for BRAC Tanzania both internally and externally
Other duties assigned by the supervisor

  Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management  or related field

A minimum of three to Five years of recruiting experience

Previous experience utilizing the Internet, databases ,applicant tracking systems, search engines and social Media to source Active and Passive Candidates
Other Competencies (Skills, Abilities, behavior)

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff.

Must possess a commitment to the belief that all people have the right to dignity, respect, opportunity and full community inclusion.

Must have a philosophy that is consistent with the mission, Vision and Core Values of the Organization.

Up to date knowledge of the Tanzanian Labor Law

Strong organizational and Time management skills; excellent Verbal and written communication skills and ability to foster relationships with employees at all levels  within the organization; ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives; and strong creative problem skills are required .

Demonstrated ability in Computer skills for Word processing , databases, Spreadsheets and presentation software, preferably Microsoft Office ; and ability to learn new Software packages
Job Location: Anywhere in Tanzania
