Marketing Specialist – Communication, Channel & CRM

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
Key performance areas
As the Marketing Specialist – Communication, Channel & CRM, you will be responsible for the implementation of standard channel management practices and CRM management, as well as, the development and systematic rollout of marketing communications and events. The role will have key responsibilities under both areas, and will liaise with global stakeholders and customers.
CRM responsibilities include:
  • Management of the CRM system (Sales Force), including troubleshooting, keeping the system current, and maintaining system integrity
  • Train and support employees and new users
  • Run reports and monitor use
  • Ad hoc projects as required
Marketing & Communication responsibilities include:
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute approved marketing communication material according to defined timelines
  • Plan, compile and maintain listing of potential PR opportunities and job stories
  • Plan and coordinate of trade shows and events
  • Support the marketing activity of the distributor network
  • Support the distributor review process
Your profile
Besides possessing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/related field or equivalent experience, you also possess a minimum of 3 years’ related experience. Your writing skills are highly developed, and you have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of and experience with Sales Force or CRM database systems would be a significant plus. You possess a strong interest in Marketing and a continuous desire to learn and grow in the field. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design is preferred.
