The London Institute of Banking & Finance was founded in 1879 as the Chartered Institute of Bankers and is, today, a leading international provider of financial education. The Institute offers highly regarded Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees, a broad range of Professional and Specialist qualifications and Financial Capability Programmes in schools. In excess of 50,000 students in 100 countries study for our qualifications each year.
Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses provide students with a deep theoretical understanding and with the practical knowledge needed to apply that theory in the workplace. The Institute is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and maintaining a strong and distinctive focus on employability. Students also benefit from smaller than average class sizes.
As part of our plans to expand our full-time Academic staff based at our campus in the heart of the City of London, we are seeking to appoint several enthusiastic Faculty at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor levels, in Banking, Finance, Investment and Accounting, to undertake teaching duties on Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Candidates should have completed a PhD in Finance, Economics or a related discipline and have significant teaching experience. We would also welcome applications from candidates who have recent, relevant industry experience, accompanied by some evidence of teaching.
