We are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser to be part of our team, with true passion for doing business. This position is located in Sandviken.
Job Summary
As Strategic Purchaser you develop, implement and ensure compliance of category strategies and guidelines. You develop, maintain, follow-up and ensure implementation of category strategies in the Professional Services area. Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, guidelines, regulations and laws, and creating and ensuring implementation of contracts related to your own sourcing projects are parts of your daily work. You identify, prepare, propose and select sourcing projects, and you also lead and participate in sourcing projects, including supplier selection and creation of contracts. Your work is handled in accordance with common processes, systems and tools, as well as established delegation and authority matrices. Moreover, you collaborate within Indirect Purchasing to ensure sharing and implementation of best practices and execution of continuous improvements, and establish relationships with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of business needs.
Travel will be required in this role.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Marketing, Supply Chain, Law, Finance, Business, Engineering or who has equivalent experience. You have at least five years’ experience from commercial business and proven experience from category-driven purchasing, supply, production, sales or finance. Skills in strategic purchasing and strategic sourcing are important in this role, as is good knowledge of purchasing contracts, while skills in purchasing of professional services are preferred. Moreover, you have experience from team and stakeholder management and, as we act in a global setting, your English and Swedish skills are great, both written and verbal.
