Research Economists
The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) is looking to recruit a number of outstanding post-doctoral economists to join our research teams.
IFS is Europe’s leading centre for microeconomic research and is an authoritative commentator on a wide range of policy issues. It is a politically independent registered charity aiming to bridge the gap between academia and the wider public.
IFS is looking to recruit a number of outstanding economists to join our research teams.
We welcome applications from:
- those expecting to graduate in 2017 with an extremely good degree in economics;
- graduates with an extremely good degree in economics who are expecting to complete an MSc in 2017; or
- exceptional economists with some experience in research, in academia, public or private sectors.
If you join us straight from your first degree, you will be encouraged to study part-time for a Masters degree with financial support from the Institute. If you are interested in further study, support is also given towards part-time study for a PhD.
Candidates who are studying for or have completed a PhD are also welcome to apply and will be considered for a Research Economist role. There will be a first round of interviews on Wednesday 22, Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February 2017, and a second round on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 March 2017.
