Product Area (PA) Crushing and Screening within SMRT is now looking for a strong and communicative Regional Logistics Manager, to strengthen our delivery in the regions US, Canada and Mexico. Job Summary
As a Regional Logistics Manager you are responsible for optimization and the regional logistics performance within Production Area (PA) Crushing and Screening in the Sales Area – this to tighten our relationship with our customers. You set up and ensure well-functioning and cost-efficient flows and networks for our equipment and crushers' wear-and-spare parts, and you develop our systems and strategies. An important part of your role is to define and implement a solid inventory strategy and synchronize the Regional Inventory Management with the Global Inventory objectives. An equally important aspect is creating an understanding of the customers' perspective and needs within our flows by taking action and following up initiatives.
You meet our customer requirements and captures business opportunities by ensuring tight collaboration with the Sales Areas and the Logistics team – true committed to increase both the aftermarket business and our flexibility towards our customers. You also ensure well-developed work flows between the head logistic center in Svedala, Sweden and our local logistic centers. International travel is required for this position, around 50-60% of your working days.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Economics. You have four to five years documented working experience from the areas Logistics or Supply Chain and proven skills in communication, being responsive and structured. An MBA within Supply Chain is advantageous for this position, and you need to have good knowledge of MS Office software and Windows and experience from ERP Logistics systems. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, in both speaking and writing, are prerequisite for the position. Extra language skills that are beneficial for the regions are advantageous.
