Humanitarian Support Personnel - French Speaking Supply/Logistics

£26,843 - £36,006 net salary per annum

Home-based with global deployments probably totalling 9 months a year

Wherever they are in the world, our Humanitarian Support Personnel achieve incredible results. They make up a diverse international group that moves directly to regions facing humanitarian crises, providing support where it's needed most. Coordinating our Supply & Logistics activities in these regions, you’ll be there to make sure the right help reaches the right people at the right time.

The role

You’ll travel to every emergency-response deployment ready to coordinate a wide range of best-practice Supply & Logistics services. From programme planning and proposal writing to efficiency assessments, supply chain reviews and aligning our work with partner agencies, you’ll ensure efficiency and timeliness at every turn. Where necessary, you’ll also have on-the-ground responsibility for coordinating security protocols. Throughout it all, you’ll make improvements wherever you see room for them, contributing to the development of our overall Supply & Logistics strategy.

What we’re looking for

An influential and adaptable leader with fluent French, you’ll solve problems and manage conflict with customary verve and conviction. Your strategic Supply & Logistics experience will cover logistics planning, procurement, warehousing, supplier management, distribution, compliance, transportation and fleet management. More importantly, you’ll have applied all of this knowledge extensively in the field, notably in front-line emergencies.
