Chief Director: Restitution Management Support
Salary: R830 502 per annum (all-inclusive package to be structured in accordance with the rules for SMS) (Level 14) (Ref. S8/3/2011/673)
Requirements: • Appropriate recognised degree/diploma in Social and Economic Sciences or equivalent • Extensive senior management experience • Understanding of the restitution programme • Ability to provide strategic direction and ensure achievement of restitution objectives • Understanding of the mandates of the Department • Knowledge of the following: Project management, budgetary planning, expenditure reporting, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, Human Resource planning and financial management • Networking skills • Team management skills • Interpersonal skills • Budget forecasting skills • Computer literacy • Resource planning skills • Problem-solving and decision-making skills • Good communication skills • Organisational and coordination skills • Valid driver’s licence.
Duties: • Align Restitution Settlement Models with CRDP • Develop systems, guidelines and procedures to support implementation of settlements • Develop and maintain Risk Management plans • Develop and maintain Integrated Information Management Systems for the Commission • Develop and maintain Performance Management Systems for the Commission • Develop and maintain sound financial controls • Develop and monitor implementation of the Strategic and Annual Operational Plan of the Commission.
Note: Appointment is subject to a positive security clearance and the signing of a performance agreement.
