Accounts Executive – Retail

Summary
To manage profitably specific customer accounts in each assigned segment by selling integrated voice/data/image/wireless products, services and solutions. Establishes and meets personal revenue goals including, win back, new revenue and the protection of existing revenue. Develops strong customer relationships and to maintain a high level of customer service.

Reports To:-Corporate Account Manager

Duties  
1. Identifies new revenue opportunities by analyzing customers’ business objectives and motivators; e.g. competitive environment, sales and financial objectives and tactical/strategic business plans
2. Analyzes customer needs and delivers information to and works with service development team and Sales Administrator(s).
3. Accountable for debt management/Credit Control of the customer accounts under his/her portfolio by guided by the company’s Credit Policy so as to achieve sales objectives.
4. Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with key Decision Makers, Owners, Department Heads or Communication Contacts to ensure acceptance of solution, successful sales negotiations and long term customer relations.
5. Maintains up-to-date information on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, strategies and selling propositions to the assigned accounts. Identifies and counters competitor’s activities. Leads account team to pro-actively protect network revenues and maintain working relationships.
6. Recommends solutions, presents proposals and sales presentations explaining how TTCL’s products and services will meet their business requirements.
7. Obtains customer commitment and negotiates conditions of sale e.g. lease, outright purchase, contract. Presents completed documentation for authorization.
8. Ensures coordination of implementation is successful. Follows up to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
9. Develops and evolves customer account plans, and sales plans focused on generating new and protecting existing revenue.
10. Assists in planning, scheduling and implementing promotional activities e.g. trade shows, sales campaigns, product seminars, etc
11.Ensures that Sales Administrator(s) are assisted, understand and focus on their roles and responsibilities, as to meet their objectives.

Qualifications
• Degree in Administration/ Business/Marketing OR Electronic and Computer Science equivalent education and/or experience • Must have at least five years experience in relevant field • Demonstrated ability in sales closure and ability to work in a highly competitive industry. • Extensive knowledge of competitive communication industry issues and technologies • Excellent ability to plan and organize in a self directed environment • Excellent interpersonal skills with sales negotiation skills • Computer knowledge • Driving competency
