The African Union, established as a unique Pan African continental body, is charged with spearheading Africa's rapid integration and sustainable development by promoting unity, solidarity, cohesion and cooperation among the peoples of Africa and African States as well as developing a New Partnership Worldwide.
The African Union Brussels office was established to promote the cooperation and growing strategic partnership between the African union and European Union.
In seeking to achieve this objective, the African Union Brussels office intends to strengthen its capacity to deliver by, among others, the implementation of its organizational structure and the filling of all vacant posts.

1. JOB PURPOSE
Perform secretarial and reception duties for AU Permanent Mission
2. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

5. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Proficiency in English and French is a requirement; Knowledge of one or more other AU working languages would be an added value.
6. TENURE OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment will be for twelve months and is renewable, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

8. REMUNERATION
The salary attached to the position is an annual lump-sum of US$ 15,309.00 inclusive of all allowances
