Regional Manager

Summary
This job seeks to ensure business growth and profitability within the region, through proper management and coordination by building up strategies for market penetration and suitable coordination of technical, support and commercial teams operations and resources.

Duties  
1. To implement Network and Commercial Business Strategies, Policies, Operational plans and support performance targets assigned in line with TTCL’s corporate business objective at the region level.
2. To direct efforts and initiatives that support the achievement of the Region’s revenue by increasing market share and increase of customer base to enance business profitability targets.
3. Ensures effective and efficient management of company resources allocated to the region.
4. To build and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs and policies for customer satisfaction.
5. To develop and implement customer retention strategies in order to ensure business growth.
6. Ensures strong coordination of technical, support and commecial operations that promotes TTCL’s strong corporate image in the region.
7. To monitor and report on the daily, weekly, monthly and quartely regional performance and reports to the HBU and advise accordingly.
8. Provide leadership to the section by demonstrating the corporate values taking accountability for the actions and results of self and others in the section, being a champion of positive change and continuously working to improve all aspects of the operations of the region and Company at large.
9. Provide inputs as required to TTCL’s corporate planning processes and developing sectional objectives and functional plans that support the achievement of TTCL’s corporate objectives and the TTCL Strategic Business Plan.
10. Accountable for the development of employees and ensuring the section has the skills and resources necessary to accomplish sectional objectives
11. Accountable for performance management of employees including setting objectives, regular feedback on performance and coaching and mentoring to improve performance and maximize employee job satisfaction.
12. Accountable for developing section budget within the framework of the corporate budget and monitoring and controlling sectional expenditures to meet the budget and maximize the effective use of TTCL’s financial resources.
13. Implements and exercise delegated authority and any other instructions and directives as may be issued by the management from time to time.

Qualifications
• A university degree in Business Administration/Management-related field or Telecommucations Engineering and or General Science. A post-graduate degree would be an added advantage. • Five (5) years experience in a commercially driven environment, 2 or 3 of which in supervisory level with accountability for business growth and recent management experience in the telecom industry. • Sound business management experience in the designated region would be an added advantage with knowledge and skills in the areas of sales, distribution, financial and resources management. • Business management Computer literacy. • Customer focused and team building ability. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to develop and sustain effective team work.. • Self motivated ability to meet multiple deadlin
