Facilities and Transport Manager

Summary
To support the core business in the areas of real estate, fleet management, security services and related other corporate services.

Duties  
1. To formulate, disseminate, monitors implementation and review policies, processes, procedures, best practices and guidelines in the areas of real estate, fleet management, security services and other corporate services in the company.
2. To initiate and recommend acquisition of new fleet and or disposal of aged and uneconomical fleet in the company.
3. To manage all insurance matters covering business operation, employees and landed properties and other assets in TTCL.
4. To manage HQ fleet and security portfolios and design overall control measures to ensure efficient and cost effective fleet usage, fueling and maintenance and security services in TTCL.
5. Ensures proper documentation, safe custody and accurate reporting of real estates, fleet, security and other corporate services portfolio in the company
6. To ensure statutory payments pertaining to landed properties, real estate and fleet are timely processed and paid to the relevant authorities.
7. Provides leadership to the section by demonstrating the corporate values taking accountability for the actions and results of self and others and practices corporate governance in the section.
8. Provide inputs as required to TTCL’s corporate planning processes and developing sectional objectives and functional plans that support the achievement of TTCL’s corporate objectives.
9. Accountable for the development of employees and ensuring the section has adequate performance capabilities in terms of skills, competencies and resources necessary to accomplish sectional objectives
10. Accountable for performance management of employees under the section including setting objectives, regular feedback on performance and coaching and mentoring to improve performance and maximize employee job satisfaction.
11. Accountable for developing section budget and monitor and control sectional expenditures and costs to meet effective use of TTCL’s financial resources.
12. Implements and exercises delegated authority and any other instructions and directives as may be issued by the management from time to time.

Qualifications
• University Degree in Transport Management /Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications. Postgraduate qualifications is an added advantage • Five (5) years experience in handling similar functions of which three (3) should be at a supervisory level in a large commercial organization. • General knowledge of personal computer and basic software applications. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Analytical, negotiation, report writing and presentation skills • Honest with high integrity and confidence. • Problem solving skills
