independent company that holds a concession to manage and develop Kilimanjaro International Airport and its estate. KADCO is seeking for an experienced professional to fill the position of:
AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER
POSITION
The Airport Operations Manager ensures that airport operations are safe and efficient. These include airside and terminal operations and involve the services of government institutions, concessionaires, suppliers and others. The organization and management of emergency services is a key responsibility. The Airport Operations Manager reports directly to the managing director.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Managerial experience in operations/safety in the aviation industry
• A high degree of analytical skill and operational/technical knowledge of airport operations
• Wide knowledge of ICAO standards in regard to airport operations and infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build consensus
• University degree or equivalent operational/technical qualifications
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swahili will be an asset
The ideal candidate is highly independent, self motivated and proactive. He/she has a natural talent for building and maintaining relationships. Reliability and integrity are his/her trademarks.
