Qualifications and skills
- Relevant educational background (a university degree in economics, management, social sciences or equivalent where the normal period of university education is at least three years).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluency in the English language, including effective spoken, presentation and written reporting abilities.
General professional experience
- At least 10 but preferably 15 years of experience in SME competitiveness and innovation development issues.
Specific professional experience
- Proven experience as a Team Leader at least at two similar complex technical assistance projects.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of innovation and enterprise policy development and implementation.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the financing instruments for SME growth.
- Knowledge and experience of EU procurement procedures.
The base location of the project will be in Belgrade. However, the Consultant’s team will be required to travel to other parts of Serbia as required.
Project duration: 24 months
Indicative mobilisation of the Consultant’s team is planned for September 2011.
