Principal Lecturer - Monitoring and Evaluation

Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA) is a premier Training, Research and Consultancy Institute in Public Service.

We are seeking suitable candidates to fill the positions of:

Principal Lecturer - Monitoring and Evaluation

Key Results Areas will include:
  • Design, develop and deliver a range of learning and development programmes in Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Prepare training materials for courses delivery such as training manuals and course packages
  • Initiate and co-ordinate, collaborative research and consultancy in Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Conduct research and publish in referred journals
  • Provide thought leadership for product and service innovations
  • Provide the necessary liaison between the Institute and the clients
  • Carry out any other assignment as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience:
  • PhD degree in Public Administration, Management, Education or related field.
  • 5-7 years of teaching experience in the University or Management Development Institute
  • Research and Consultancy in Management and Governance
  • Published at least two publications in referred journals/a book
  • Supervised research projects/Thesis for graduate students
  • Evidence of Community Service
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in ICT
Remuneration:

Salary scale: Kshs. 90,982 x 2,620 – 101,463 x 3,013 – 113,515.
