Capability Manager, Performance Management, Business Intelligence - Maersk Line, Copenhagen, Denmark

A.P. Moller - Maersk has implemented SAP to many of its companies globally under the project called FACT (Finance and Accounting for Container Transport). The FACT project started in the beginning of 2003 with the vision of implementing world class, uniform and cost effective financial processes for the Container Business. Today, the FACT is live globally and the project is an integrated part of Maersk Line IT delivery organization. SAP BW is now the primarily financial reporting tool within Maersk Line and will be a major source for upcoming Data Warehouse solution. The team looks within 3 Main business areas: Accounting to Reporting, Order to Cash and Requisition to Pay.

We are looking for a Senior SAP BW/BI Developer to strengthen our Business Warehouse (BW) team. The Business Warehouse Team consists of 7 people, and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SAP BW solution.

General areas of responsibility
• Timely execution of the assigned developments on our SAP BW/BI platform (3.5 & 7.0).
• Manage customer requirements in coordination with Business Process Experts.
• Create and maintain data structures (ODS, InfoCubes & Multi-providers).
• Develop functional and technical specifications, and completes object development and testing.
• Design and execute testing plans to validate the business requirements.
• Knowledge sharing within the team.
• Continuously support and communicate with our off-site load monitoring team.
• Handle maintenance requirements.
• Monitor and optimize SAP BW platform.
The right candidate
• At least 5+ years of SAP BW back-end development experience (3.5 or higher), covering implementation of complete data flows (business content and customized solutions).
• ABAP development skills in BW.
• Experience in maintaining a global high data volume BW system.
• Preferable front-end experience in Business Explorer and Business Object.
• Preferable experience in one or more of our business areas OTC, RTP and ATR
• Effectively express and present ideas/information within the team.
• Strong ability to lead discussions with the business to analyse reporting needs.
• Makes timely decisions to meet requirements, timeline and expectations.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Has self-motivating and pro-active nature.

The Team
The BW team consists of many different profiles where solutions and results count more than years of experience. The BW team is part of the Data to Intelligence portfolio (the programmes Business Intelligence, Master Data and Fact Based Reporting).
