Senior Manager (Civil Works)
Salary: R331 548 - R430 380 per annum (plus benefits) (Ref. PINRE009/1)

Minimum requirements: • A 3-year qualification in the Building Environment/NQF Level 5 equivalent and a minimum of level 5 qualification in the field of Accounting, Finance, Economics or a National Diploma in Public Finance Management and Administration (SAQA qualification ID number No 49554) and relevant experience • The following competencies as prescribed in the National Treasury Minimum Competency Framework: Operational Finance Management; Governance, Ethics and Values in Financial Management; Risk and Change Management, Legislation, Policy and Implementation and Supply Chain Management • A valid driver’s licence • Computer literacy • Management and negotiation skills • Extensive experience in building control.

Core responsibilities: • Establish operational goals for the Building Control, Building Maintenance and Outdoor Advertising Sections • Manage the implementation and coordination of the dolomite risk management plan between stakeholders • Manage and control the Operational and Capital Budgets • Manage projects • Manage the Workplace Skills Plan for the Department • Enforce adherence to Municipal policies • Manage staff.
