International Executive Director
The Greenpeace name is synonymous with global efforts to preserve the life and environment of the planet through non-violent direct action. Dynamic and highly respected, Greenpeace is the largest environmental organisation in the world with more than three million supporters and millions of collaborators, volunteers, and partners. Greenpeace International is the coordinating body of the global organisation comprising 26 national and regional organisations (NROs) covering operations in more than 55 countries.
In the last five years, Greenpeace has gone through a radical process of re-directing its strategy, prioritizing growth in key countries in the South such as China, Brazil, and India, and ensuring that our campaigns are led by the people closer to the struggles of key environmental challenges. Greenpeace International is now seeking an outstanding leader who is capable of championing the cause, leading and managing the international organisation including the continuing roll out of the global operating model, and building up our next long term strategic global framework. This is a unique opportunity to apply all your energy, experience, passion and intellect to a truly worthwhile challenge.
