As part of our VC2020 Lectureship programme, designed to build research capacity towards REF 2020, we are looking for an outstanding VC2020 Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, whose research interests are aligned with the department’s research group themes. Based in the state-of-the-art £35 million Hugh Aston Building, the Leicester Business School is one of the largest providers of business and management education in the UK. The Department of Accounting and Finance is well established and has a strong national and international reputation for high quality research and an enviable track record in teaching.
We have over 600 students studying our undergraduate, postgraduate, research and professional programmes each year, including around 250 part-time UK students and 50 full-time international students study ACCA and CIMA qualifications with us. Students regularly achieve examination results well above the national average and win national prizes for their results.
The Department of Accounting and Finance achieved the best possible results from the government’s Quality Assurance Agency for our excellent teaching and student support, and the on-going annual renewal of the ACCA Premier Status and CIMA quality partner.
