Global Sales within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technologyis now looking for an Automation Business Line Manager, Sales Area Northern Europe, to be part of our journey, in a key position where your performance contributes to increased profitability and growth. The position's location is flexible but Sweden and Finland are preferred.
Job Summary
As Automation Business Line Manager, you drive regional sales and business development of Sandvik Mining Automation products and services in Sales Area Northern Europe. An important part of the role is to create local business plans, working closely with the customers and establishing solid and continual mining automation sales processes together with other local functions, including other business lines, account-and-sales management and aftermarket functions. Within Regional Mining Automation, you work with business development, sales training, offering commercialization for local needs, and sales process, structure and role definition creation. Furthermore, you are active in customer interaction and relationship management and responsible for sales budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
About 25-50% of this position's time is consumed traveling.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree relevant to the mining industry, or equivalent knowledge obtained from work experience. You have extensive operational management experience in the mining industry, and experience in sales and marketing and key account management is preferred. Experience in mining applications and mine planning and scheduling are considered a plus, as is knowledge of Automation's business. As we operate in a global setting, you have excellent skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish, Finnish and German is advantageous.
