The Sites & Applications team within Sandvik IT is accountable for the end-to-end responsibility within SharePoint and Notes/Domino and for development and management of the related services. With us, you will have the opportunity to influence both existing and future services in a truly global and complex environment.
To reinforce our development in SharePoint, we are now looking for an experienced IT Service Architect – someone who finds inspiration in working in a dynamic and stimulating role. This position is to be located in Sandviken or Stockholm, and travel between the locations is required.
Job Summary
In this position, you design fit for purpose IT services on and for the SharePoint platform. It is your responsibility to ensure that services are aligned with our Service Strategy and the overall architecture framework at the same time as they fulfill the customers’ requirements. You identify which solutions, processes and competencies are necessary to provide the services and maintain and improve these throughout their lifecycle. You are an active part in the service design and transition processes and take a coordinating role to ensure progress in our different projects. In collaboration with Service Owners and other stakeholders you work to evolve the standard services but may also be given assignments such as supporting application development projects with architectural designs matters.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience and you have at least three years’ experience in a similar role, including writing service descriptions, calculating TCO and defining meaningful SLAs and KPIs. Experience from service delivery in a global outsourced environment is advantageous, as is experience with SharePoint services, ITIL, service reporting and outlining business cases. It is also preferred that you have well developed skills in translating customer requirements into proposals and solutions. As we operate in a global setting, you need to be fluent in English.
