We are now looking for Temporary EHS Advisor to join the EHS Team at our site in Ballygawley. You will provide a comprehensive administrative support and ensure the efficient daily operation of the EHS Department.
Job Summary
Reporting to the EHS Manager you will provide professional EHS support to all employees, advising managers and staff on EHS policies, legislation and best practice. You will ensure a safe working environment, abiding by all necessary Environment, Health and Safety requirements and legislation. You will promote safe working throughout the Company. You will assist with the development and maintenance of EHS information systems and maintain the EHS database and training records. You will administer group EHS documentation and distribute to staff across Mobile sites to ensure consistency of operations. You will organise and conduct EHS inductions and training events for employees and the monthly EHS committee meetings, ensuring all recommendations are actioned by the committee members. You will carry out investigations of accidents/incidents and compile information for reporting. All recommendations and preventative measures will need to be communicated and monitored. You will ensure the EHS Manager is kept fully informed of issues to ensure the effective achievement of EHS plans and deputise for the EHS Manager he is not at site.
Your profile
You must have experience of working in an EHS department and have a third level qualification in Environment or Health and Safety. You will need experience in an administrative environment and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to plan and organise.
