Climate Support Facility Administrator

Landell Mills will be submitting a proposal for the Technical Assistance for the GCCA Climate Support Facility and is looking for a Climate Support Facility Administrator to include in our bid.

Project details:
The objective of the GCCA programme is to support the sustainable development of the ACP regions and countries, ensuring their progress towards the Millennium Development Goals. The specific focus of this long-term technical assistance is to assist the ACP Secretariat in dealing with a broad range of climate change and related issues, and especially in interfacing with the Intra-ACP GCCA Climate Support Facility (CSF).

The Role:
Based in Brussels, responsible for the day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks of the Climate Support Facility, which will provide technical assistance in the field in line with the Work Programme to be established by the ACP Secretariat. This Key Expert should have, as a minimum:

  • a university degree or equivalent;
  • at least 5 years of experience, preferably in dealing with environmental issues, and preferably in ACP regions;
  • at least 2 years of experience dealing with development matters, and preferably including climate change issues;
  • strong organisational and administrative skills, and preferably related to programme support and services;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • familiarity with environmental issues faced by the ACP regions will be an advantage;
  • ability to work fluently in both English and French.
