Medical Officers
Ref: HRD/MO/03/11

Reporting to the Accident & Emergency Coordinator, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Management, stabilization and treatment of patients.
  • Providing clinical support including admission, discharge or referral to the appropriate consultants.
  • Undertaking clinical procedures in Accident & Emergency Department, Wards and Clinics.
  • ICU rotation.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Participating in continuous medical education programmes.
  • Participating in major disaster management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
  • ACLS, ATLS, PALS qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
  • Valid practice licence.
  • Two (2) years post qualification work experience in an emergency setting.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make quick and solid decisions.
Radiographers
Ref: HRD/RPR/03/11

Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, the successful applicants will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Performing radiological procedures.
  • Producing images of high diagnostic quality.
  • Assisting with diagnostic imaging services in Theatres.
  • Providing services in the Catheterisation Laboratory.
  • Maintaining equipment, accessories and stock logs.
  • Effective use of picture archiving & radiological information systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Registration with Radiation Protection Board.
  • Valid practice licence.
  • Two (2) years work experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
Ultrasonographers
Ref: HRD/ULTS/03/11

Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Performing ultrasound examinations.
  • Producing reports for ultrasounds performed.
  • Performing routine and special examinations.
  • Maintaining equipment, accessories and stock logs.
  • Effective use of picture archiving & radiological information systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Higher Diploma in Ultrasonography.
  • Registration with Radiation Protection Board.
  • Valid practice licence.
  • Two (2) years work experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
Physiotherapists
Ref: HRD/PHY/03/11

Reporting to the Chief Physiotherapist, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Coordinating and conducting in-depth evaluation and assessment of patients who have physical disabilities, disorders or injuries.
  • Identifying treatment goals, appropriate therapy techniques and equipment.
  • Carrying out rehabilitative programs.
  • Advising patients, ward staff and family members on treatment plans, techniques and exercises.
  • Conducting regular evaluation of patients to assess progress and response to therapy.
  • Developing treatment plans to be followed by patients after discharge.
  • Conducting educational sessions on physical therapy and rehabilitation management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists.
  • Valid practice licence.
  • One (1) year work experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication sills
Pharmacists
Ref: HRD/PHR/03/11

Reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Checking prescriptions for accuracy and suitability to ensure safe, economical and rational use of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
  • Clinical checks on all treatment sheets and prescriptions.
  • Preparing and labelling extemporaneous preparations for both in and out patients.
  • Participating in formulating and implementing Hospital policies on drug use and pharmacy standard operating procedures.
  • Chemotherapy drug dispensing and reconstitution in accordance with the cytotoxic handling policy.
  • Providing comprehensive and accurate drug information to patients and other users.
  • Participating in continuous medical education lectures.
  • Participating in drug stock takes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
  • Possession of valid annual practicing license.
  • One (1) year work experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Senior Systems Administrator
Ref: HRD/SSA/03/11

Reporting to the ICT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Facilitating effective use of ICT systems to maximize on benefits of installed technology.
  • Advising on trends in ICT relevant to healthcare and other aspects of business management.
  • Providing technical guidance and business advise on the procurement of ICT systems and technology.
  • Implementing in house ICT systems in liaison with client departments.
  • Managing service contracts and ensuring that service level agreements are met.
  • Assisting in leading the ICT team.
  • Participating in training of staff in other departments.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certification in core areas of networking, cabling, ERP software and data base products.
  • 5 years progressive experience in a busy ICT support environment handling both software and hard ware.
  • Good business process analysis skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
