Committed to eradicating injustice, protecting basic freedoms and speaking for those who have no voice, Amnesty International (AI) is at the forefront of human rights. That’s why we’re taking advantage of everything the online space has to offer. And that’s why we need your expertise to deliver our digital projects. About the role You’ll be involved in everything from initiation and planning to delivery and evaluation as you lead, coordinate and deliver a range of innovative digital and online projects. Doing it well means getting stakeholders involved at every stage and creating in-depth briefs to meet their needs. But as well as developing and implementing products for our main web site, our social media tools and our e-campaigning, we’ll expect you to assess their strategic impact, plus keep an eye on budgets. You’ll also coordinate and closely supervise the work of the Project Team, keeping them motivated, organised and on-track to deliver every aspect of each project on time and on budget. And as the main point of contact for the movement, you’ll maintain an up-to-date overview of all things digital. You’ll be committed to doing what it takes to deliver key digital projects, whether that’s taking a flexible approach to the hours you work or travelling internationally. About you As well as a solid background working on multi-lingual products in multi-cultural environments, you’ll need plenty of experience managing the end-to-end delivery of multi-stakeholder digital communications projects. You’re detail-oriented, enjoy working in teams and understand how to manage and mitigate project risks. You’ve managed many Agile projects but know how to negotiate processes to ensure successful delivery. You’ll also have strong communication and presentations skills and be experienced in building and maintaining relationships with both internal clients and external agencies. Confident delegating and supervising a team, you’ll bring out the best in others and show a real commitment to building high-profile projects that inspire people to act. And joining us in our 50th year, you’ll have every chance to do that. | |
