Senior Business Analyst - SASATEL

JOB PURPOSE

Understand the telecom business processes of the organization in a very clear cut manner. Facilitate requirement gathering & maturing, solution conceptualizing and ensuring a synchronized delivery of the solution from all dependent entities in a complex multi-vendor environment. Work with the business teams in assisting them to articulate their requirements in explicit manner and end with delivery of the solution which is ready for Service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Define End-to-End Business and functional solutions to support Telecom products and services

· Clear understanding and communication of requirements.

· Development of requirements, functional and specification documents.

· Convert business needs to clear technical specification & define clear scope of deliverables from different entities to meet the business requirement.

· Gather requirements & available solutions from several peripheral teams.

· Think out of the box and come with creative solutions maximizing the available resources and minimizing impact on the environment.

· Interact with the technical team and provide necessary support to understand the requirement throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

· Influence decisions and requirements from all involved entities in order to meet the business requirement in most optimal and flexible manner.

· Work in an international environment with stake holders from multiple ethnicities.

· Would be required to work alone as well as in teams.

SKILLS REQUIRED

· Should have excellent analytical, documentation and presentation skill.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Through understanding of Telecom business processes and latest industry trends.

· Extensive experience in dealing with highly technical issues and demonstrated ability to draft effective solutions to business problems / opportunities.

· Good understanding of the Technology platform and ability to visualize the solution to address the business needs appropriately.

· Must have excellent Customer interaction and management skills.

· Willing for international travel on a long / short term basis.

Broad knowledge of a wide array of IT activities and processes

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in Telecom domain
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement
  • Proactively develops and improve products and services
  • Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues
  • Make strategic decisions
  • Inspire others to share their vision and support them to reach a common goal
  • Coordination and planning of budgets, people and time management
  • Dedicated to improving results
  • Analytical expertise in understanding complex issues and their consequences
  • Show loyalty to the team by standing by decisions that benefit the organization

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of good customer service
  • Flexible, reliable, adaptable, responsible

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED

  • Clean driving license is essential

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Normal working conditions, which may involve indoors and outdoors environment
