The National University of Rwanda would like to recruit competent and qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

3. HEAD OF CGIS KIGALI OFFICE (1)

Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry the overall responsibility for the activities of the CGIS-NUR Kigali Office;
• Promote and demonstrate the GIS/RS potential and deliverables with actual and potential CGIS clients and stakeholders and contribute to the extension of the network of GIS users in Rwanda;
• Serve as liaison officer for CGIS with government agencies, NGOs and private companies in the Kigali area;
• Develop, execute and supervise selected demos, research projects and shortcourses in agreement with the CGIS Executive;
• Maintain contacts with the CGIS-NUR Butare and selected project partners and sponsors;
• Develop an annual activity plan including budget for the NUR-CGIS Kigali Office;
• Provide quarterly and yearly reports of the activities of the NUR-CGIS Kigali Office.

Minimum Qualification
To have an MSc with specialized training in GIS/RS
