The School of Applied Sciences seeks to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic researcher in the area of biochemistry and analytical chemistry but with clear research attributes in either archaeology or environmental science. The School is particularly interested in candidates with a strong analytical dimension to their research and have a full set of REF-returnable high quality publications (3* or higher). Candidates will also be expected to have postdoctoral experience.

The post will encompass teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subject areas as well as administrative responsibilities commensurate with the post. The candidate is expected to aspire to a rapid career progression.
