The School of Applied Sciences seeks to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic researcher in the area of Palaeoanthropology/ Human Evolution.
The successful candidate is expected to have a strong research portfolio with aspirations to progress to Associate Professor/Professor rapidly in the area of human evolution. The School is particularly interested in candidates with a strong analytical dimension to their research or an established programme of fieldwork. The candidate will join and support a highly active research environment and will have a full set of REF-returnable high quality publications (3* or higher).
The post will encompass teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subject areas as well as administrative responsibilities commensurate with the post. The candidate is expected to aspire to a rapid career progression.
