Dongbei University of Finance & Economics was founded in 1952 and is one of leading universities in China in finance, economics, tourism and management areas.

International Education Centre is an institution dedicated to providing excellent education service at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for international as well as Chinese students. It boasts dynamic multicultural teaching team with staff, from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, etc. who come from diverse academic and industry backgrounds. As a result of the strategic growth of the Centre, we are seeking three Lecturers in Tourism Management whose expertise is within one or more of the following areas---tourism management, event management, hotel management and service management.

The candidates are expected to have:

• A doctoral degree in a relevant discipline.
• Good command of English to teach in English
• Proven experience or capability of delivering high quality teaching and research output
• Professional experience in relevant fields would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have proven university teaching and research ability, along with relevant professional experience on Tourism Management.

• to have significant input to teaching and dissertation supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• to engage in course design and management, curriculum review and new course validation process
• to conduct research in relevant areas and contribute to developing the Centre's research profile.
• to support colleagues and participate in International Education Centre, DUFE administrative work as appropriate.
• to undertake any such other duties within the scope of the post as may be requested by your director.

Remuneration Package

• Annual salary: RMB 150,000---300,000 (GBP 15,000-30,000) depending on qualifications and experience
• Benefit package: accommodation allowance, travel allowance and medical insurance, and paid leave
• Relocation assistance: flight and luggage allowance, one week temporary accommodation near campus, and support in finding long-term accommodation

Research Funding

The Centre encourage all academic staff to engage in research activities and provide research funds up to £ 5000 for fieldwork, conference, and publication in the International academic journals of the SSCI/SCI/SCI-E search.
