Dongbei University of Finance & Economics was founded in 1952 and is one of leading universities in China in finance, economics, management and tourism areas.

International Education Centre is an institution dedicated to providing excellent education service at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for international as well as Chinese students. It boasts dynamic multicultural teaching team with staff, from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, etc. who come from diverse academic and industry backgrounds. As a result of the strategic growth of the Centre, we are seeking three Lecturers in Business Management & Marketing Management whose expertise is within one or more of the following areas---international business management, marketing, human resource management, financial management, and finance & accounting.

The candidates are expected to have:

• A doctoral degree in a relevant discipline.
• Good command of English to teach in English
• Proven experience or capability of delivering high quality teaching and research output
• Professional experience in relevant fields would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have proven university teaching and research ability, along with relevant professional experience in International Business Management. The primary position duties will include:

• teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• to contribute to a collaborative environment of professional development and excellence
• to support equality of opportunity and equity of treatment to colleagues and students in accordance with Surrey International Institute policy.
• to contribute to scholarship and research which advance the department's strategic initiatives

Requirements

Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, with a record of scholarly research and professional contributions. Experience teaching in relevant subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential.

Candidates should be an English native speaker, or fluent in English. Although this position is for all qualified candidates, we particularly welcome Chinese overseas returnees.

Remuneration Package

• Annual salary: RMB 150,000---300,000 (GBP 15,000-30,000) depending on qualifications and experience
• Benefit package: accommodation allowance, travel allowance and medical insurance, and paid leave
• Relocation assistance: flight and luggage allowance, one week temporary accommodation near campus, and support in finding long-term accommodation

Research Funding

The Centre encourage all academic staff to engage in research activities and provide research funds up to £ 5000 for fieldwork, conference, and publication in the International academic journals of the SSCI/SCI/SCI-E search.
