VACANCY IN FINANCE – TELECOMMUNICATION SECTOR
Position Title:	Operating Policies Review Analyst / Team leader
Duty Station:	Nairobi, Kenya
Main Responsibilities and Duties
1. Review and Analysis of Financials		· Review & Analysis of Balance Sheet · OPCO Review visits · Closure of issues arising from above as per deadlines.
2. Statutory & Internal Audit Coordination		· Coordination for Book closure & Stat & Internal Audit · Closure of issues arising out of Statutory & Internal Audit as per deadlines.
3. Resolution of OPCO Queries and guidance for proper Control.		· Support to OPCO’s by resolution of their queries related to policy issues and facilitate operational issues. · Preparation & Release of guidelines for clarity in accounting issues
4. Deliverables to other departments		· Timely & 1st time right deliverance to other verticals as per FR Calendar
5. Projects		· Physical Verification of fixed assets · Preparation and maintenance of Accounting Manual.
Education, Skills & Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will: · Be fully qualified CPA · Have 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role · Have knowledge of the latest accounting tools / Software used in reporting · Have knowledge of IFRS · Have working knowledge in excel · Have exposure to an ERP environment · Preferably from telecom / service industry/ Audit background Knowledge of French would be added advantage
