Postdoctoral Researchers Cutting-Edge Visual Computing

The Geometric Modeling and Scientific Visualization (GMSV) Center at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) possesses top expertise and performs fundamental and application-oriented research in a variety of areas of visual computing such as: geometric modeling and geometry processing, scientific visualization, virtual reality, rendering, simulation, computational geometry and topology, computer vision, and imaging science. There is a strong focus on novel applications with a high potential for the advancement of science and technology. In particular, the GMSV Center provides a unique interactive environment that cultivates multidisciplinary collaborations among our University's researchers and students as well as industry researchers and collaborators interested in exploring the mathematical properties of systems in pure sciences and engineering.

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER POSITIONS
We seek 5-10 creative postdoctoral researchers. The areas of expertise include, but are not limited to:

  • Visual Computing and Mathematics
  • Visualization
  • Geometry
  • Image Processing
  • Computer Vision
  • Computational Geometry

GRADUATE STUDENTS AND COLLABORATORS
STUDENTS are invited to apply for the master's and PhD programs. The general scholarship program of the University is the KAUST Fellowship and all students are evaluated for financial support under this fellowship. When awarded, the scholarship supports students for the duration of their graduate studies.

SHORT TERM VISITORS (2-3 months) can be postdoctoral researchers or PhD students, but longer term collaboration requires an additional proposal.
