Minimum Requirement:
• A Doctoral degree in Environmental Health, Public Health or an equivalent qualification
• Significant years of teaching and/or research experience
• A proven research track record of publications in both national and international journals
• Supervision of Masters and/or Doctoral Students
• An NRF rating will serve as a strong recommendation
• Presentation at national and international conferences

Core Functions:
• Leading Research in the Department
• Supervise postgraduate students
• Liaison with industry as well as community engagement
• Responsible for administration of research work
• Responsible for strengthen research capacity amongst academic staff of the Department
• Lecturing in selected undergraduate programmes in the Department
