Summary
The Worldwide Sales Operations expert is responsible for acting on behalf of our regional sales compensation managers to make our processes and systems more effective and efficient, to manage worldwide programs, and support analytics on sales performance.
Objectives
This role suppots the HP Software Sales Compensation team in all regions that is responsible to develop and maintain a simple, stable, consistent and affordable Sales Compensation operation for HP that:
· aligns compensation to our Go To Market strategy and HP Sales Compensation strategy
· motivates the sales force to outperform our competition
· rewards superior productivity accurately and on time
· supports attracting and retaining the best talent in the IT industry
· measures sales force performance and effectiveness
· drives the most efficient and effective coverage model
Job Description
· Manage compensation planning process including analysis, strategies, systems, communication and project management of these end to end programs.
· Manage relationships with Sales Compensation providers (i.e. compensation teams) and internal clients (i.e. field, GTM) on a global basis
· Support all HP Software business units through the analysis of compensation frameworks, surveys and recommended programs.
· Analyze and model incentive compensation programs and present to Senior Leadership.
· Lead the HP Software Global SPIFF (Special Performance Incentives for Field Force) Program and actively engage on the process improvement.
· Partner with HR and Sales to review winners summit classifications.
· Project Management Office for Sales Compensation systems and improvement projects (i.e. Channel and Alliances Comp. Tool (Charlie), Accounts and Rostering Tool (ART), Sales Productivity Tool (SPT), MyComp)Work on acquisitions, as needed, to ensure a smooth transition to HP compensation plans, processes and systems
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
· First-level university degree required
· Typically 3 to 5 years of experience in a business related function, preferably sales, sales compensation, finance, or accounting
· Experienced in managing teams and/or organizations
Knowledge and Skills Required
· Proven ability to work at all levels, from business champion to Senior Management
· Track record of innovation and launching new programs
· Strong capabilities in modeling and statistical analysis
